My name is Cindy Coones, and I teach sixth grade language arts.   I have been teaching at White Oak for many, many years and look forward to the upcoming year.  I have many plans and activities that I am eager to implement this year.  I love teaching and could never imagine doing anything else.

I am married to a retired coach, and we have two grown sons.  One son and wife lives in the Dallas area where Brent is a general manager at a golf course in Rockwall.  Our other son, Jace, is an athletic trainer at Trinity ISD.  I also have two grand-dogs – Priscilla and Tank.  LOL!!  I love them all.

                                             

I know that we are going to have a great year.  So let’s get ready to LEARN!!!!
