Students will research background information about WWII, Hitler, and the Holocaust in preparation for the class novel Number the Stars.

Friday
Students will be able to discuss concepts of Mountain Language.

Together we will read about and discuss the author Lois Lowry and the historical fiction genre.
We will read and discuss chapters 1 & 2 of the novel Number the Stars.
